Week 8- Christmas Glow- Emily Taylor

This weekend I began to decorate my room for Christmas since December is rapidly approaching. I put up this small tree in my room every year to make my space feel a bit more festive. This year I tried to make my space extra special because I'll be spending most of my time in it until the quarter is over. I love the comforting glow that Christmas lights give off especially in a small space. There is such a feeling of hope and joy attached to the glow the lights give off and the shadows they create behind them. The holiday season has alway been a beacon of light in the long fall quarter and is even more so in my last quarter of my undergrad. So the look of Christmas lights are a reminder of the rest and recuperation I can look forward to.
