Week 6 - Shadows of Sultan- Lu
This is one of my foster kittens, Sultan. I went to LA for the weekend to spend some time with my family. One day everyone in the house went out and I was left alone with the cats. The older ones are always on their own, but the kittens like to be around. I tried to take a nap while my parents were out, but the kittens kept staring at me. It was a cloudy day but the sun would come out from time to time. I played with the kittens when I noticed the sunlight coming through the blinds, and while the other two kittens were running around, Sultan laid down and looked at the window. The sunlight made his black hair shine even more and make these contrasts of black and grey on his hair. His little eyes turned into some color between green and blue. When cats are babies, their eyes always look blue, and they eventually turn into their actual color as they grow up. I like the shadows that were created by the sun and the blinds, and the color combination of green and blue with the warmth of the sunlight and the floor. His name is Sultan because since I met him, I always thought he looked majestic, and I also get that feeling from this picture.

Great photo and I love your analysis of what is going on and how it made you feel. And adorable kitten :)
