Week 4 Hiking Sights

This photo was taken in Northern California, at a hike my sister and I like to go on frequently. On some days the fog overcasts the trees and houses, but today it was vibrant with color and clarity. This was actually my first time doing this particular trail, where we could stop and enjoy the view, and I loved seeing the vast horizon and the contrasts in the blue. The horizon is almost a shining white light and the blue color darken as it rises. If you look closely at the picture, you can also see an upside-down rainbow, right below my head. I'm guessing that is in part because of the reflection of the sun? Doing these blogs encourages me to stop and reflect on the types of lighting I see during my everyday life, but also that I can capture these moments with my phone.
