Week 4- Halloween Nights- Tori

Last week, my best friend and I carved pumpkins together. It was a great way to be creative and get into the mood of the holiday. It took longer than expected, neither of us are great artists and we didn't have the best tools, but we were both pretty please with the end result. We placed candles in our pumpkins, and that was when our creations truly came to life. The orange light emanating from our pumpkins' faces harkens to the autumnal colors of the season, and the warm glow seeping out from the cutouts makes our pumpkins' look more friendly and loving than spooky or scary. I also love the rays of light streaming out from the wicks of the candles, giving almost a heavenly glow to our cozy fall night in.

  1. Very nice pumpkins and yes, so much of the holiday season is tied to light - this is a great example of how lighting can make what we already have that much better. Nice post!
